About

More than kicking and slamming

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling art built around ground fighting, positional control and submissions. It grew out of traditional Japanese jiu-jitsu into a style of its own, one where precise technique and leverage beat raw strength.

Beyond self-defence, it builds fitness, mental discipline and personal growth for people of every age and level.

Why Antwerp Jiu-Jitsu

01

Physical×
Mental

Hard training builds strength and mobility while sharpening focus and resilience. Body and mind get worked in the same session.

02

Simple×
Difficult

The fundamentals are easy to pick up; mastery takes years of dedication. The beauty is in how practical it is: leverage, timing and strategy over brute force.

03

Safety×
Freedom

Safety comes first. We train in a way that keeps injuries rare, inside a framework loose enough for everyone to find their own game.

Ageless camaraderie, boundless growth

Six or sixty: everyone starts somewhere, and everyone keeps learning.

Build confidence, get fit and make friends for life on the mats. For kids it is a playground; for adults, a fountain of youth.
